About Huktra (UK)
Established in 1981, we are a leading European Bulk Liquid Intermodal Transport Company.
We specialise in the movement of both hazardous and non-hazardous bulk liquids for a wide range of sectors across the UK and Europe using our own fleet of tank containers and vehicles.
Our Company
We are an European Bulk Liquid logistics company specialising in providing door-to-door services for the movement of liquids in bulk. Use is made of cross channel ferry, inland waterway, rail and road, taking into account cost, efficiency, environment, reliability, safety and speed considerations.
Many of the world’s largest chemical, petrochemical pharmaceutical companies rely on us for both hazardous and non-hazardous deliveries on both a contract and non-contract basis. Customer care is a deeply held philosophy running throughout the company. We operate a fleet of our own liveried trucks, operating up to 44 tonnes gross weight, fitted with compressors and /or pumps that are manned only by our full time personnel, who have completed Huktra’s driver training course.
We have a team of professional experts with the knowledge, skills and experience to be a desirable integrated logistics partner. A strength of our company is bespoke, creative solutions that add value and meet or exceed customers’ individual requirements.
Acquired by the Harnage Group in January 2019 we are already benefiting from investment in new iso tank containers, infrastructure, equipment, IT and the building and strengthening of partnerships with both customers and suppliers. We have also invested in our staff, implementing new safety procedures and new processes designed to make the company more efficient. We pride ourselves on our ability to offer bespoke, creative and flexible solutions. We have the ability to meet and fulfil short notice complex requirements and tailor our service to meet the customer requirements and deliver a reliable quality service.
Our Team
Acquired by the Harnage Group in January 2019 and the focus is to invest in both the infrastructure of the company by buying new iso tank containers and equipment, and also to invest in our team. We have spent time ensuring that new safety training and measures are in place and that all staff have access to ongoing training and support.
Our team is made up of professionals who are experts in their field and this has allowed us to become a flexible company, with the ability to respond at short notice to complex requirements.
